BCCI bans India U-19 cricketer Rohit Yadav for two years

BCCI imposes two-year ban on U-19 player Rohit Yadav for age fraud.

The BCCI has banned India U-19 cricketer Rohit Yadav for two years over age fraud. Yadav had travelled to Sri Lanka with the India U-19 team.

He was subsequently selected for the side's series against Australia scheduled in Rajkot later this month. The ban prevents him from participating in that series.

The board's decision follows verification of his age documentation after the Sri Lanka tour.
