BCCI confirms Indian cricketers will stay in Asian Games accommodation

The BCCI has confirmed that Indian cricketers will use Organising Committee accommodation at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan. The board addressed earlier concerns about room quality raised by some players.

The clarification follows reports that the team had requested upgraded facilities. The BCCI stated that the accommodation meets required standards and that no alternative arrangements are being pursued.

India is scheduled to compete in both the men's and women's cricket events at the Games.
