BCCI makes own hotel arrangements for Asian Games

Members of the Indian men's cricket team are still waiting for correctly sized kits ahead of their Sunday departure. The BCCI has been talking to JSW Inspire, the IOA's kit supplier, and most of the jersey issues are now sorted.

The board has also booked its own hotel rooms after concerns about the accommodation offered by the organisers. The men's rooms were too cramped for kit bags, while the women's team is staying in the rooms provided by the IOA.

India open their trip with a one-off T20I against Japan on September 22 before the Asian Games start on September 28. They'll wear standard kit for the bilateral match and the official Asian Games jerseys for the tournament.
