BCCI president says Pakistan no longer offer competition after Asian Games win

Manhas claimed Pakistan no longer compete at the same level after India's 19-run win secured back-to-back Asian Games golds.

Mithun Manhas said Pakistan do not provide the level of competition they once did after India beat them by 19 runs to win gold at the Asian Games on October 3. India posted 211 for six and restricted Pakistan to 192 for six in the final at Korakuen Stadium in Nisshin, Japan.

Abhishek Sharma scored 61 off 28 balls and Tilak Varma made 51 not out from 22. Axar Patel and Washington Sundar took two wickets each, while Hasan Nawaz scored 96 for Pakistan.

Manhas praised India's ability to handle pressure situations and said the team's composure was a sign of defending champions. India also won the women's cricket gold earlier in the tournament.
