BCCI sacks senior member of support staff after injury concerns

The BCCI has reportedly decided to remove a senior member of India's sports science team after head coach Gautam Gambhir and chief selector Ajit Agarkar flagged the run of injuries. The timing is awkward, with India due to play Afghanistan in a T20I series and key players already breaking down in rehab and simulated matches.

Selectors and coaches have been pushing for the change because the same pattern keeps repeating. No statement has come from the board, and the person's name and departure date remain unknown.
