BCCI says scarcity of top hotels in Nagoya drove accommodation decision
BCCI attributes hotel concerns to limited options in host city.
BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla said the issue over cricketers' accommodation for the Asian Games arose due to the scarcity of top-rated hotels in Nagoya. The board has accepted the designated facilities provided by the organisers.
Shukla confirmed that the arrangements may not match five-star standards but insisted the facilities are suitable. Neither the players nor the board have raised further objections.
The clarification ends earlier speculation about India's participation in the cricket event.
