Yastika Bhatia named India A captain for one-day and red-ball series

Yastika Bhatia will captain India A in the one-day and multi-day series against Australia A, while Anushka Sharma leads the side for the three-match T20 series. The BCCI announced the appointments ahead of the home fixtures.

Separate squads have been named for the three one-day matches and two longer-format games. The selection committee prepared distinct groups for each format to manage player workloads.

The series serves as preparation for upcoming senior international commitments. Bhatia has previously led India A in limited-overs formats and takes charge of both the 50-over and multi-day sides for the Australia A tour.
