Meerut Mavericks win UP T20 League title by 94 runs

Meerut Mavericks defeated Lucknow Falcons by 94 runs to win the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2026 title on Sunday. Divyansh Joshi scored 105 off 40 balls and Vishal Chaudhary took four for 24 to seal the victory.

Rinku Singh captained the winning side while Bhuvneshwar Kumar led Lucknow Falcons to their first final in four seasons. The all-round display from Meerut proved too strong for the Falcons in the summit clash.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has not played for India since November 2022. His brief response to comeback calls went viral on social media after the final.
