Bree Illing joins WPL 2027 auction pool with three uncapped Indians

New Zealand fast bowler Bree Illing was added to the WPL 2027 auction list on Tuesday evening, taking the player pool from 146 to 150. Delhi's Medhavi Bidhuri and Samaira Raghav, along with Uttar Pradesh's Avanya Jain, were also included with base prices of Rs 10 lakh each.

Illing set her base price at Rs 30 lakh. The auction begins at 5.30 p.m. IST on October 28 in Kochi, with 27 slots available across the five franchises. UP Warriorz hold the largest purse at Rs 3.75 crore with eight vacancies, including three overseas positions.

Gujarat Giants have Rs 1.25 crore for three slots, Royal Challengers Bengaluru Rs 1.15 crore for five, Delhi Capitals Rs 1.10 crore for five and Mumbai Indians Rs 90 lakh for six Indian-only positions.
