Brian Devine banned for two years after ball-tampering allegations

Brian Devine has been banned from all cricket for two years after being accused of clicking his fingers to fake bat-on-ball noise.

The former Saltburn CC player earned the nickname 'Clicky Ponting' after video of the alleged incident spread online.

Saltburn's second XI was relegated to division three, hit with a 60-point deduction for next season, and fined by the league. The action follows an investigation into the club's second team.
