Brisbane Heat sign England spinner for WBBL|12

Brisbane Heat completed the signing of an England spinner as their first overseas player for WBBL|12. The signing marks the start of the club's overseas recruitment ahead of the December tournament.

The Heat are expected to finalise their full squad list in the coming weeks. Several other WBBL teams have begun approaching overseas players following the lifting of the contract embargo.

The tournament will run alongside the men's Big Bash League with matches scheduled across Australia.
