Mitchell Marsh fifty helps Sunrisers Leeds beat Welsh Fire by 71 runs
Marsh's all-round display lifted Sunrisers Leeds closer to the Hundred knockout stages.
Mitchell Marsh scored 50 off 34 balls with eight boundaries and three sixes as Sunrisers Leeds posted 201 for four to beat Welsh Fire by 71 runs at Headingley. Ryan Rickelton made 40 off 22 balls in an opening stand of 89, while Harry Brook, Zak Crawley and Dan Lawrence also contributed.
Brydon Carse took three wickets for 24 runs to restrict Welsh Fire to 130 for six despite Matthew Short's 43 and Joe Root's 31. Sunrisers are close to securing a place in Friday's eliminator and could still finish top of the table.
Liam Livingstone and Dewald Brevis scored half-centuries as London Spirit beat Birmingham Phoenix by seven wickets at Lord's. Livingstone made 66 off 30 balls and Brevis an unbeaten 55 as Spirit reached 166 for three with 18 balls to spare.
