Brydon Carse left out of England squad for third Pakistan Test

Brydon Carse and Matthew Fisher have both been omitted from England's 15-man squad for the third and final Test against Pakistan at Edgbaston. Carse was dropped from the squad ahead of the second Test and remains under investigation.

The pacer's absence follows an off-field incident during the build-up to the second Test. England have named a 15-man squad without either bowler for the September 9 match.

The decision leaves England's pace attack short of options heading into the final Test of the series.
