Kuldeep Yadav overtakes Venkatesh Prasad in India's ODI wicket list
Kuldeep Yadav moved to ninth on India's ODI wicket-taking list with a four-wicket haul against West Indies.
Kuldeep Yadav became India's ninth-highest ODI wicket-taker after claiming four wickets against West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. The left-arm wrist-spinner took 4 for 40 to move past Venkatesh Prasad's 196 wickets. He needs two more scalps across the remaining two ODIs to become the fourth Indian spinner with 200 ODI wickets.
Kuldeep dismissed John Campbell, Shai Hope, Justin Greaves and Jewel Andrew. He has taken 37 wickets in 20 ODIs against the West Indies, joint-fourth among Indian bowlers against that opposition.
Anil Kumble leads the all-time list with 334 ODI wickets, followed by Javagal Srinath with 315. Ravindra Jadeja is seventh with 232 wickets.
