Can Manav Suthar maintain classical spin in the IPL era?

Sri Lanka spinner Prabath Jayasuriya received an official reprimand and one demerit point for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct. He struck boundary wedges with his bat after being dismissed by Manav Suthar on day two of the second Test in Colombo.

Jayasuriya admitted the offence. He is the third player sanctioned in the match after Yashasvi Jaiswal and Asitha Fernando.

India declared at 503 for nine and reduced Sri Lanka to 265 for eight at stumps on day three. The hosts still trail by 238 runs.
