Clarke says he cannot believe Kuldeep Yadav is not India's first-choice spinner
Clarke and Ashwin both criticised India's reluctance to make Kuldeep Yadav a first-choice option.
Michael Clarke can't see why Kuldeep Yadav isn't India's first-choice spinner. The former Australia captain questioned India's decision to drop him after the wrist-spinner took 2 for 33 in the opening T20I against West Indies.
Kuldeep was left out for the Ranchi match after conceding 53, with Naman Dhir preferred alongside Axar Patel. His T20I record sits at 98 wickets in 56 matches at 14.20.
Ravichandran Ashwin called the treatment unfair, arguing one bowler shouldn't be singled out when conditions are difficult. India begin their New Zealand series on October 22.
