Cricket West Indies appoints Bob Carter as batting consultant

Cricket West Indies has named Bob Carter as batting consultant on a one-year contract that starts September 1, 2026. Carter spent years in New Zealand's high-performance setup, so he already knows how the engine room works.

The job is straightforward: sort out the top-order mess that has followed the side across formats. West Indies have cycled through plenty of ideas lately, but the runs keep drying up at the top.
