Chennai Super Kings sign Dian Forrester to replace injured Overton

Chennai Super Kings moved fast, signing South African all-rounder Dian Forrester for Rs 75 lakh to replace Jamie Overton for the rest of IPL 2026. Overton had been pulling his weight — 14 wickets and 136 runs across 10 matches — before the thigh injury shut him down. Forrester's a left-hand batter and right-arm pacer who debuted for South Africa in March 2026. He'll be in the squad immediately.
