Daaryoush and Kishore guide Gloucestershire to 128 for seven against Middlesex

Zafar Daaryoush and R Sai Kishore added 50 runs for the eighth wicket to lift Gloucestershire from 128 for seven on the first day of their County Championship match against Middlesex. The pair frustrated the visitors after Gloucestershire had slipped to that score in the middle session.

Kishore finished unbeaten on 71 from 131 balls while Daaryoush remained not out on 28. The stand rescued the hosts after three quick wickets fell either side of lunch.

Middlesex will resume on the second morning with the chance to press for a first-innings lead on a pitch that has offered seam movement throughout the day.
