David Miller arrives in Nepal to play for Karnali Yaks

David Miller arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday and was welcomed by Karnali Yaks officials. The 37-year-old South African has scored 12,435 runs in 584 T20 matches, including four centuries and 53 fifties. He hit the then-fastest T20I century off 35 balls against Bangladesh in 2017 and was part of the Gujarat Titans squad that won the IPL title in 2022.

Miller is scheduled to play for Karnali Yaks against Sudurpaschim Royals on Friday at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Karnali Yaks have won two of their first three matches in the ongoing Nepal Premier League.

Karnali Yaks chairman Ghrihendra Ghimire said Miller's presence will help promote Nepal as a tourism destination.
