DDCA writes to BCCI after match-fixing allegations in DPL

DDCA contacts BCCI after sting alleges fixing in Delhi Premier League; association offers full cooperation.

The Delhi and District Cricket Association has written to the BCCI seeking guidance after former Ranji player Rachit Bhatia alleged match-fixing during a sting operation. Bhatia claimed he fixed matches in the Delhi Premier League and the 2025 IPL.

DDCA secretary Ashok Sharma said the association would provide all available evidence, including video footage, if requested. He added that the DPL's anti-corruption unit had deployed officers with every team and that the board's anti-corruption personnel were engaged directly.

Sharma said the DDCA did not believe the allegations had merit but would follow any BCCI directive, including involving Delhi Police if required.
