Deep Dasgupta recalls Anil Kumble's intimidating on-field presence

Deep Dasgupta still remembers what it was like keeping to Anil Kumble. The former India wicketkeeper says Kumble's stare alone could make him go up for a marginal shout even when he knew the batter was safe.

Kumble didn't just bowl. He expected his keeper to hunt every edge and every inside edge, and Dasgupta wasn't about to let him down. That kind of pressure worked both ways: it rattled the batter and it kept Dasgupta on his toes for the entire spell.
