India wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel left the field during the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle after sustaining an injury at short leg. The incident occurred in the 28th over when Sonal Dinusha swept Manav Suthar's delivery straight to him.
Jurel had earlier scored a fifty in the match, ending a run of seven innings without reaching the milestone. The catch that prompted his departure was referred to the third umpire, with Lahiru Udara given out despite the batter's visible disbelief at the decision.
