Dhruv Jurel scored an unbeaten 115 as India declared their first innings at 503 for nine on day two of the second Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo. Jurel’s hundred was his second in Test cricket. He took the gloves on day three after Rishabh Pant did not take the field with a bruised shoulder. Jurel showed his ‘Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan’ tattoo after reaching his century, dedicating it to his soldier father and farmer grandfather. India reduced Sri Lanka to 265 for eight at stumps on day three.
