Nicholls unbeaten 119 helps New Zealand level series against England

Henry Nicholls scored an unbeaten 119 at number three in the second Test against England at The Oval. He replaced the retired Kane Williamson in the batting order. New Zealand won by 253 runs to level the series 1-1.

Matt Henry took 6 for 29 in England's second innings and finished with 11 wickets in the match. England collapsed from 182 for 5 to 209 all out on the final morning. Nicholls credited his recent domestic form in the Plunket Shield for the innings.
