Ellyse Perry stars as Phoenix secure first Hundred win
Perry's 68 helps Birmingham Phoenix to first win of women's Hundred season against Welsh Fire.
Ellyse Perry scored 68 and Alice Capsey made 51 as Birmingham Phoenix beat Welsh Fire by seven wickets in the women's Hundred. The win came with 15 balls to spare after Perry and Capsey put on 89 for the third wicket.
Phoenix had lost their first three games. The victory lifts them off the bottom of the table, while Welsh Fire have now lost four straight and face a scramble to reach the knockout stage.
