Duan Jansen replaces injured Ottneil Baartman for Australia ODIs

South Africa pacer Ottneil Baartman has been ruled out of the three-match ODI series against Australia after sustaining a left hamstring injury while playing for Dolphins. Duan Jansen has been named as his replacement and will join the squad in Durban. Baartman will undergo further assessment on his injury.

Kagiso Rabada is already unavailable for the series, leaving South Africa without two frontline pacers for the matches beginning later this week. Jansen's inclusion provides additional pace bowling options for the Proteas squad facing the touring Australians.

The series will be played in Durban, Centurion and Johannesburg. South Africa will need to manage their bowling resources carefully across the three matches.
