East Zone bowls out Central Zone for 266 on opening day of Duleep Trophy semifinal

East Zone dismissed Central Zone for 266 on the first day of the Duleep Trophy semifinal in Bengaluru. Abhijit Sarkar and Mukesh Kumar took three wickets each while Mohammed Shami claimed two.

Rinku Singh top-scored with 60 for Central Zone. East Zone reached stumps without loss in their second innings.

The match remains evenly poised after both sides posted identical first-innings totals of 266. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's 92 stood out in East Zone's first innings.
