England name new faces for Sri Lanka white-ball series

England have handed maiden call-ups to Aneurin Donald and Henry Crocombe for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against Sri Lanka, the ECB announced on Friday. Jamie Overton returns to the squad after missing the Pakistan Tests.

Phil Salt will miss the series with a right quad injury, while Jacob Bethell is unavailable after knee surgery. The squad will be led by Jos Buttler in the T20Is and by Harry Brook in the ODIs.

The three-match T20I series begins on 10 September at Chester-le-Street, followed by three ODIs starting on 17 September at Headingley.
