England skipper says accusing Pakistan of lacking fight is disrespectful

England captain Joe Root said it is disrespectful to accuse Pakistan of showing no fight during the current Test series. Root spoke ahead of the third Test at Edgbaston on Wednesday.

England lead the series 2-0 after wins at Headingley and Lord's. The tourists remain on the brink of a whitewash with one match left.

Root made the comment while preparing for the final match of the three-Test tour.
