Esterhuizen climbs 65 places in latest T20I rankings

Connor Esterhuizen surges into the ICC T20I top 25 after climbing 65 places in the latest rankings update.

Connor Esterhuizen has moved up 65 spots to enter the top 25 of the ICC Men's T20I Batting Rankings. The South Africa right-hander's rise follows consistent performances in recent series.

The latest update also tracks Lhuan-dre Pretorius, who became the youngest player to score a T20I hundred. South Africa's batting order continues to evolve ahead of the three-match ODI series against Namibia starting 9 September.

Esterhuizen's jump reflects South Africa's depth in white-ball cricket. The Proteas will use the Namibia series to assess options for the 2027 ODI World Cup qualifiers.
