Fi Morris set to retire after One-Day Cup campaign with Lancashire

Lancashire all-rounder Fi Morris will retire at the end of the One-Day Cup campaign after four seasons with the county. The 32-year-old announced the decision earlier this week.

Morris played 47 matches for Lancashire across all formats since joining from Oxfordshire in 2022. She scored over 1,200 runs and took 35 wickets in her time at the club.

Her retirement comes during a period when Lancashire are rebuilding their women's squad ahead of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. Morris said she wanted to pursue opportunities outside professional cricket.
