Finn Allen, David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen headline ILT20 pre-auction signings

New Zealand opener Finn Allen, South Africa batter David Miller and wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen have been signed ahead of the DP World ILT20 Season 5 auction. Allen joins Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, while Miller and Klaasen move to Gulf Giants. Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis returns to Dubai Capitals after a three-year absence.

Each of the six franchises completed four pre-auction signings on August 3. Returning players include Sunil Narine and Jason Holder at Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Shimron Hetmyer at Desert Vipers, and Nicholas Pooran, Rashid Khan and Romario Shepherd at MI Emirates. The player auction takes place in Dubai on October 1.

The 34-match tournament runs from November to December 2026. Desert Vipers are the defending champions after beating MI Emirates by 46 runs in last season’s final.
