Finn Allen joins Melbourne Stars on record three-year deal worth AU$600,000

Allen signs biggest BBL contract to date after leaving Perth Scorchers for Melbourne Stars.

New Zealand opener Finn Allen has left Perth Scorchers to join Melbourne Stars on a three-year contract reported to be worth AU$600,000, the largest in Big Bash League history.

Stars outbid Scorchers for the 26-year-old, who helped Perth win last season's title. The deal runs through BBL 18.

Allen will link up with Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis at the only BBL franchise yet to lift the trophy.
