Shahbaz Ahmed scores 167 and takes three wickets in Duleep Trophy quarter-final

Shahbaz Ahmed scored 167 and picked up three wickets with his left-arm spin after East Zone had recovered from 138 for five to reach 355 for six. Sudip Kumar Gharami made 146 while Ahmed stayed unbeaten on 100 at the close of day one. On day two Abhijit Sarkar wrapped up the innings with five wickets, and East Zone enforced the follow-on against North East Zone at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 2 in Bengaluru.
