Yorkshire sign Faheem Ashraf, Kent sign Dian Forrester for T20 Blast
Yorkshire and Kent announced overseas signings for the T20 Blast on Friday. Faheem Ashraf replaces Will Sutherland at Yorkshire, while Dian Forrester takes Senuran Muthusamy's spot at Kent.
Yorkshire signed Pakistan allrounder Faheem Ashraf to replace injured Will Sutherland for the Vitality Blast and two County Championship rounds. The deal was confirmed Friday, with Ashraf available from Yorkshire's opener on May 22. His T20I experience and PSL pedigree give the county a ready-made option.
Kent went the same route, bringing in South Africa's Dian Forrester to cover for injured Senuran Muthusamy in the 2026 T20 Blast. Forrester's five T20 caps and PSL history alongside Sam Billings meant he slots straight in.
