Geoffrey Boycott picked Ravindra Jadeja as his favourite player of the modern generation ahead of the Fab Four - Virat Kohli, Joe Root, Kane Williamson and Steve Smith. The former England opener recalled telling Jadeja 'you are my favourite cricketer'.
The comment came during a discussion on contemporary Test cricket and the all-rounder's contributions across formats. Boycott has previously praised Jadeja's bowling accuracy and lower-order batting resilience.
Jadeja moved from CSK to RR ahead of the 2026 IPL season after years as Chennai's key all-rounder.
