82 runs — GT thrash SRH to top IPL table

GT posted 168/5 and bowled out SRH for 86 to win by 82 runs, securing 16 points and top table position.

Gujarat Titans beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 82 runs at Narendra Modi Stadium and moved to the top of the IPL 2026 table with 16 points from 12 matches. B Sai Sudharsan made 61 off 44 balls and Washington Sundar hit 50 off 33 to push GT to 168/5, though the pitch was two-paced and early innings wasn't easy. SRH never recovered. They collapsed to 86 all out in 14.5 overs.

Kagiso Rabada took 3-28 from four overs — economy of just 7.00 — while Jason Holder grabbed 3-20 and Prasidh Krishna took 2-23. It's GT's fifth straight win. SRH slip to third on 14 points, with Rabada now leading the Purple Cap race on 21 wickets after running through their top order. Travis Head fell for a duck. GT's powerplay bowling — Praful Hinge went 2-17 from three overs — suffocated SRH before they could build anything.

Sudharsan is now second in the Orange Cap with 561 runs across three straight IPL seasons where he's passed 500. RCB sit second overall on 14 points from 11 games.
