Gujarat Titans in trade talks with Delhi Capitals for Ashutosh Sharma

Gujarat Titans entered discussions with Delhi Capitals over a trade for Ashutosh Sharma. The IPL trade and retention deadline falls on November 17, 2026. Sharma is 28 years old and was picked by Delhi Capitals for INR 3.8 crore at the mega auction two years ago.

Sharma scored 171 runs across eight games at a strike rate over 180 in the last IPL season. He switched domestic allegiance from Madhya Pradesh to Gujarat. Gujarat Titans approached another franchise about Ashok Sharma a few months ago.

Delhi Capitals sent T Natarajan to Sunrisers Hyderabad in a separate deal. Mitchell Starc's availability for the upcoming season remains uncertain. No official confirmation of the GT-DC trade has been issued as of November 8, 2026.
