Gurnoor Brar added to North Zone squad for Duleep Trophy semi-final

Punjab and India fast bowler Gurnoor Brar has been added to North Zone's squad for their Duleep Trophy semi-final against South Zone. The match begins on August 30 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 2 in Bengaluru.

Brar joins straight after India's Test series against Sri Lanka, where he was part of the national squad but did not play. Selectors are giving him more red-ball cricket following his call-up.

Central Zone will face East Zone in the first semi-final at Ground 1 on the same date. Auqib Nabi is exploring a county stint subject to his visa paperwork coming through.
