Gurnoor Brar says Bumrah and Siraj helped transform his bowling approach

Brar credited Bumrah and Siraj for helping him develop a mindset focused on ignoring pitch conditions.

Gurnoor Brar has credited Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj for transforming his bowling after the tall Punjab pacer took four wickets in the Duleep Trophy semifinal. The 22-year-old has been fast-tracked into India's ODI and Test setup.

Brar said he tries to take the pitch out of the equation and has impressed selectors with his ability to operate for long periods on unhelpful surfaces. He has taken 11 wickets across six ODIs with an economy rate around seven.

The North Zone seamer bowls at high pace and has shown he is not averse to operating on slow pitches, a trait that impressed selectors during the ongoing Duleep Trophy matches.
