Gurnoor Brar says Bumrah and Siraj shaped his approach

Gurnoor Brar credited Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj for transforming his bowling mindset after taking four wickets in the Duleep Trophy semifinal. The 22-year-old seamer said he now tries to take the pitch out of the equation.

Brar flew from Sri Lanka on Friday and bowled 23 overs on a slow surface at the BCCI Centre of Excellence on Sunday. He maintained his intensity throughout and finished with a four-wicket haul in North Zone's first innings.

The Punjab pacer has been fast-tracked into India's ODI and Test setup. He has taken 11 wickets across six ODIs with an economy rate around seven.
