Holder praises Gill's leadership ahead of India-West Indies ODI series

West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder said Shubman Gill showed clear communication and authority during their time together at Gujarat Titans. Holder will face Gill's India side in the three-match ODI series starting September 27.

Holder described Gill as calm under pressure and noted the young captain gave bowlers ownership over field placements. He said Gill's approach reminded him of West Indies captain Shai Hope, who is also learning on the job.

Holder also highlighted the challenge of facing Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, calling both world-class players with exceptional ODI records against West Indies.
