ICC suspends Cricket Canada membership over breaches

The ICC suspended Cricket Canada's membership with immediate effect at its board meeting. National teams and player programmes will continue through controlled funding — the decision followed serious breaches of membership obligations.

The board also approved a pink-ball trial for future matches. Controlled funding will cover international commitments, meaning cricket operations in Canada stay supported even as the governing body loses its seat at the ICC table.
