India A to play three four-day matches in New Zealand from October 24

India A will contest three unofficial Tests against New Zealand A between October 24 and November 10 ahead of the senior team's tour. The matches form part of preparations for India's two-Test World Test Championship series in Wellington and Christchurch.

Shubman Gill's side aims to improve its WTC points tally during the senior tour that also includes T20Is and ODIs. The India A schedule gives emerging players extended red-ball exposure before possible senior call-ups.

The BCCI review meeting on September 3 will also assess India's recent white-ball results in Ireland and England alongside planning for the New Zealand leg.
