India-Afghanistan T20I schedule remains under review

The first T20I between India and Afghanistan scheduled for September 13 remains subject to confirmation. Both boards have not issued an official statement on whether the fixture will proceed as planned.

Afghanistan recently played a T20I series against Sri Lanka, providing some match practice ahead of the India series. The schedule uncertainty affects preparation plans for both teams.

The BCCI typically announces bilateral series dates well in advance, making the current delay unusual for this fixture.
