India aim for fourth Women's Asia Cup title

India begin their Women's Asia Cup campaign against Thailand on August 30 seeking a fourth title.

India will seek a record-extending fourth title when the Women's Asia Cup T20 begins on August 30 in Dubai. The Women in Blue have won the tournament three times in the past five editions since the T20 format started in 2016-17.

India open their campaign against Thailand and will also face Hong Kong, China, and Pakistan in Group A. Coach Amol Muzumdar said the side will miss Jemimah Rodrigues's contributions in clutch situations during the tournament.

Harmanpreet Kaur's team enters the event after exiting the group stage at the T20 World Cup for a second consecutive time. The captain stated the focus remains on each opponent rather than any single team.
