India and Pakistan captains skip handshake at Asian Games final toss

India captain Shreyas Iyer and Pakistan captain Sahibzada Farhan skipped the handshake at the toss on Saturday. Iyer won it and chose to bat first at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin.

The no-handshake habit started at last year's Asia Cup and has stuck at every meeting since. ACC president Mohsin Naqvi won't be in the stands for the final; he's already committed elsewhere.

India booked their spot with a 124-run win over Sri Lanka. Pakistan squeezed past Bangladesh in a rain-hit semi-final. If the weather washes out the decider, both sides share gold.
