India begin three-match T20I series against Afghanistan in Delhi on Sunday

India and Afghanistan will begin their three-match T20I series at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday, September 13. All three matches will be played at the same venue. The series serves as preparation for the Asian Games later this year.

Delhi Traffic Police have issued an advisory ahead of the opening fixture due to expected congestion near the stadium. Afghanistan's spin trio of Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad and Mujeeb Ur Rahman will challenge India's batting depth. Both teams have named full-strength squads.

The matches will be broadcast live on Sports18 and streamed on JioCinema. India have dominated Afghanistan in T20Is, winning eight of nine completed matches between the sides.
