India face Thailand in Women's Asia Cup 2026 opener on August 30

India open their Women's Asia Cup 2026 campaign against Thailand seeking a fourth title.

India begin their Women's Asia Cup 2026 campaign against Thailand on August 30 in Dubai. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will also face Hong Kong, China, and Pakistan in the group stage.

India have won the title three times in five editions since 2016-17. The team enters the tournament after consecutive group-stage exits at the T20 World Cup.

Coach Amol Muzumdar said India will miss Jemimah Rodrigues's performances. The team aims to address consistency issues that surfaced during their most recent international campaign.
