India bowl first after winning toss in Hyderabad T20I

West Indies made two changes while India kept the same XI.

India won the toss and chose to bowl first against West Indies in the fourth T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Captain Shreyas Iyer cited the recently relaid pitch and expected extra bounce as the main reason for the decision. He said the team must avoid complacency against West Indies' destructive batting line-up while retaining the same emotional intensity that helped them win the third match.

West Indies made two changes to their side with Kamil Pooran and Quentin Sampson omitted and Romario Shepherd and Jewel Andrew added. India named an unchanged XI. West Indies captain Shai Hope said his team would have preferred to bowl first in the must-win game and stressed the need to build a solid foundation.

Former India batter Cheteshwar Pujara backed Nitish Kumar Reddy for another opportunity and selected an XI that includes Prince Yadav or Kuldeep Yadav depending on pitch conditions. India lead the five-match series 2-1.
